Veterans Day is quickly approaching!  There are many great opportunities for both veterans and active duty military.  This is just the start…the list is expected to continue to grow!  (Likely right up until the day of!)  So check these out and then make note to come back and see what gets added!  (There are lots of rumors about ones happening, but these are the ones I can currently confirm.  If you know of one and can link me to it, feel free to leave me a comment!)

Golden Coral
Golden Coral is hosting their 2014 Military Appreciation Monday “Thank You” Dinner on Monday November 17th from 5-9pm where any person who has served in the US Military (retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard or Reserves) will get a free meal.  No identification is required.  (Note that this one is NOT on Veterans Day!!)

Applebee’s
Stop into a participating Applebee’s on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 to get a free Veteran’s day meal from their Veteran’s Day menu.  This is available for dine-in only.  Beverages and gratuity are not included. Proof of service is required.

SportClips Haircuts
Many Sport Clips locations will offer free haircuts to active-duty U.S. service members and veterans on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2014, with valid proof of service.

McCormick and Schmick’s Seafood and Steaks
All veterans who show official verification will enjoy a complimentary meal on Sunday, November 9th, 2014.  (2 days BEFORE Veterans Day!)  Dine-in only.

On The Border Mexican Grill
This Veterans Day, all veterans and active duty military will receive a FREE On The Border’s “Create Your Own Combo”.  Guests will need to provide proof of military service.

Outback Steakhouse
Outback Steakhouse will honor our heroes with a free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage on Tuesday, November 11th in celebration of Veterans Day.  (Open to all active and former military service members with a valid ID.)

Pinnacle Entertainment
Pinnacle Entertainment will honor veterans and active duty military personnel by offering complimentary meals at the company’s award-winning buffets on Veterans Day Tuesday, November 11th.

Shoney’s
Shoney’s will thank our nation’s veterans and troops with a FREE All-American Burger on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2014.  Shoney’s military guests will need to provide proof of military service.  Offer is valid for Dine-in only and beverage, tax and gratuity are not included.

Texas Roadhouse
Veteran’s will get to select a FREE meal from a special veterans lunch menu on Tuesday, November 11th, 2014 at Texas Roadhouse.  Proof of service required.  Dine-in only.

U.S. National Parks
In honor of Veterans Day, the National Parks Service is celebrating with FREE Entrance for everyone on Tuesday, November 11th!

Travel Centers of America
All CDL drivers who are also military veterans will get a Veterans Day free meal at participating full service restaurants inside Travel Centers of America on Tuesday, November 11.  You’ll need to show proof of military service to get your free meal up to a $15 value.

Great Clips
On Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2014, customers who come in for a haircut at any U.S. Great Clips salon will receive a free haircut card to give to an active/inactive/retired military member of any branch, including the National Guard.  Military members can also come in on Veterans Day for a free haircut or to pick up a free haircut card to use, with proof of service, any day before December 31, 2014.

Starbucks
On Veterans Day, November 11th, participating Starbucks locations in the U.S. will offer a free tall (12 fl. oz.) brewed coffee to veterans, active duty service members and military spouses.

Wayback Burgers
More than 85 Wayback Burgers locations nationwide will be offering veterans and active-duty military a FREE Wayback Classic Burger with the purchase of any side and any drink on Veterans Day with a valid form of military ID.

Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme will celebrate Veteran’s Day on Tuesday, November 11th by offering a Free Doughnut (any variety) and a Small Coffee to all Veterans at participating Krispy Kreme shops locations.  No purchase necessary.  A free doughnut and small coffee will be given to anyone who identifies themselves as a veteran or active duty military personnel (no ID required).

Lone Star Steakhouse
Veterans & Active Military can enjoy a FREE Texas Rose, Potato Skins, Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Fried Green Beans, or Spicy White Queso on 11/11/14 at any Lone Star Steakhouse restaurant. Not valid with any other offer, discount or coupon. Dine-in only.

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream & Yogurt
On Veterans Day at participating Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream & Yogurt locations, all veterans and active duty military personnel can receive a FREE single scoop ice cream cone.  A valid military ID must be shown, but no purchase is necessary. 

Wawa
Wawa will be offering FREE Coffee to all veterans, active military, and their family members on Veterans Day, November 11, 2014 — any size!

Bar Louie
Every Bar Louie location across the country will offer veterans and military personnel a FREE Appetizer or Entree on Monday, November 10th, and Tuesday, November 11th.

Bob Evans
Veterans and active military personnel will receive FREE all–you-can-eat hotcakes at Bob Evans on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11th.  All these honored servicemen and women need do is show a valid military ID.

California Pizza Kitchen
On Tuesday, November 11, all veterans or active duty military personnel will be able to get a FREE entree!! (dine-in only)

Carrabba’s
Active Military and Veterans can stop by Carrabba’s from November 9th through 11th to enjoy a FREE appetizer!  Proof of service required – military ID or in uniform. 

Chili’s 
Veterans and Active military personnel can enjoy a FREE entree on Veterans Day at Chili’s!

Denny’s
Active, Non-active, and Retired Military Personnel can stop by Denny’s from 5am to noon on 11/11/14 to enjoy a FREE Build Your Own Grand Slam!

Hooters
On Tuesday, November 11th, Hooters invites all veterans and current servicemen and women to enjoy a FREE meal, up to $10.99 in value with any drink purchase, by presenting a military ID or proof of service at any Hooters location across the country.

Cheeseburger in Paradise
On Tuesday, November 11 all active and retired military personnel get a complimentary All-American Burger with fries at Cheeseburger in Paradise. Dine in only, must purchase a beverage ($1.99 or more), and present proof of service (id, photo, or uniform).

Hy-Vee
Hy-Vee stores will celebrate Veterans Day each year by offering a FREE breakfast buffet to all veterans and active-duty military members as a way of thanking veterans and military members for their service.

Max and Erma’s
Veterans and active duty military can head into Max and Erma’s for a FREE 3-Course Combo Meal on Tuesday, November 11th. Dine in only.  Beverages and gratuity are not included. Proof of service is required.

O’Charley’s 
O’Charley’s would like to say “Thank You”  with a FREE $9.99er Entree to all veterans on November 11th.  Valid military ID must be presented.

Tony Roma’s
On November 11th, Tony Roma’s is proud to honor our veterans and active military personnel!  Stop by for our Red, White & Brew, Veteran’s Day offer!  Come into our location and receive a complimentary draft beer (14 oz. draft beer per person).  At participating locations only. With proof of Military Service or Veteran Status.

Red Robin
In honor of Veterans Day, Red Robin is giving away one FREE Tavern Double burger with Bottomless Fries to each veteran or active duty military guest who shows their military ID, proof of service or who are in military uniform on Tuesday, November 11th.

Veterans and active duty military service members are invited to have lunch on TGIFriday’s this Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Proof of military service is required.  Beverages are not included unless an eligible lunch combo is ordered.

Twin Peaks
The first 100 Service men and women to visit Twin Peaks to pick up a 2015 Calendar for FREE.  Valid Badge/ID required.

Longhorn
From November 11th through November 14th, service members receive a complimentary Texas Tonion appetizer and non-alcohol beverage from Longhorn!
