If you mail a lot of letters or bills you might want to head to the post office before the end of this week to stock up on Forever stamps!  Effective Sunday, January 26th, prices will increase.  The nice thing about Forever Stamps is that it doesn’t matter what the price of a 1oz Letter Stamp increases to…this stamp covers that price forever — you’ll never have to worry about having smaller stamps to make up the difference! 

Here are the prices to make note of:

• Letters (1 oz.) will increase 3 cents from 46 to 49 cents
• Letters additional ounces will get a 1-cent increase to 21 cents
• Letters to all international destinations (1 oz.) will increase 5 cents to $1.15
• Postcards will increase from 33 cents to 34 cents

That makes it a good idea to stock up given the price is going up 3 cents!  That can add up over time!  If you’d like more information, you can read the press release here.
