On Saturday, February 22nd at ice rinks all around the country they are hosting a Try Hockey for Free Day!  This free event will give kids ages 4 to 9, a chance to check out this sport and see if it’s something they might enjoy!  Head over here to find a participating rink near you!

Looking for something fun for the kids to do?  Check out the Lowe’s Build and Grow program!  Registration is now open for their next event on Saturday, March 14th where kids can build a Tabletop Basketball Game! There are limited spots per store, so you’ll want to be sure to sign up as soon as you can if you are interested in attending!

Partake in some Valentine’s Day fun!  Head to Michael’s on Saturday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., where kids can make a Lots of Love shirt (you’ll need to by the shirt, but rest is free), Valentine’s Day Cards, Sweetheart Cookies, and Fabulous Friendship Bracelets!

There are limited spots per store, so you’ll want to be sure to sign up as soon as you can if you are interested in attending!

Do you have a child that is in the 4th grade?  If so, then you’ll want to check out the Every Kid in a Park Program!  Kids and their families will enjoy FREE access to all Federal parks, lands and waters now through August 2020!

Home Depot offers a Kids Workshop where every 1st Saturday of the month from 9am-12pm, kids will get to make (and keep!) a project!!  Currently, you can register online for the next event on March 7th where they will get to build Binoculars!  Spaces tend to fill up quickly, so it’s always a good idea to reserve your child’s spot now.

Don’t forget to take the kids to Home Depot for a special Kids Workshop this Saturday from 9am-12pm, where they will get to build a Heart String Art.

Load up the family and head out to one of our great National Parks!  They are celebrating Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. with FREE Entrance for everyone on Monday!

Joann offers in-store Hands-On Events!  They are FREE and they are FUN!  Coming up on Saturday, January 18th from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., you can learn how to use Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn to make a cute koozie!

Here’s a fun activity for kids…and a chance for you to get some shopping done!  Stop by your local participating JCPenney Kids Zone on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. where kids will get to decorate their own Here We Grow Height Chart (while supplies last)!  Parents will also receive a 10% off coupon to use all day!

They’ve just released the 2020 dates for FREE Entrance in to National Parks for EVERYONE!!  So jot them down on your calendar and plan to visit one of our great national parks!
