Did you hear what USPS has been up to? They have launched Informed Delivery that allows residents in select areas view scans of their mail that will be delivered each day! If you live in a qualifying area and sign up for this FREE service, you’ll receive black and white scans of your actual letter-sized mail pieces via email each morning! (Flat-sized pieces, such as catalogues or magazines, may be added in the future.) Pretty cool, huh? Now head over here to see if it’s available in your area. And if not, you’ll want to keep checking back as they intended to add more and more until it’s available nationwide!
I tried to sign up for this a few weeks ago but it wasn’t available. The system will let you know when it does become available if you leave certain information (I don’t remember exactly what) and they will let know when it does. Last week they said it was and now I get this everyday. It is a nice perk that is easy to view.
What is the point of this service? I can’t get the mail lady to deliver my mail to my house correctly.
