Saturday, May 14th is the Annual Letter Carrier’s Food Drive!  So as you are planning your shopping trip this week with all the great sales and coupons, consider picking up a few extras for this!  It’s a great way to use your couponing talent to help others!

Simply collect and bag non-perishable food items and place by your mailbox for your letter carrier to collect.  Donate items like canned meats, fish, soup, bottled juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal and rice — items that do not require refrigeration. (Please do not include items in glass containers.)

So many great samples, coupons, and freebies make their way to us by mail, so it only seems fitting to participate and donate in the same way!  I hope you’ll join me in donating!!
